Dr. Marion Blank’s Language Levels

I was bowled over the day I came upon this work and it underpinned my practice in speech and language therapy thereafter. I have written before about it and I think all the links still work.

For background information and links to articles elsewhere go here and for links to some of my free resources go here.

I do not make new resources nowadays but have decided to reissue a set based on Language Levels which were previously for sale on TES. They are now free. Do take a look. Any constructive comments are welcome either on TES or on the Contact form here.

1. At the Seaside

2. Sally’s Garden

3. Bob’s Dream

4. Friends

5. All about Me

6. The Park

7. Different Habitats

8. Fairy Tales 1 (includes 3 well-known tales: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Snow White)

9. Fairy Tales 2 (another 3: Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood)

10. Fairy Tales 3 (another 3: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Ugly Duckling, and The King’s New Suit – also known as The Emperor’s New Clothes)

The 10 resources can be chosen in any order as they all have Language Levels materials plus texts for young readers and additional resources.

Useful for children with special needs, speech and language delay, or those learning English as an additional language.
